2024年春季
Non-Seniors
- 学生 are expected to move out within 24 hours of their last scheduled exam or by no later than 2024年5月10日星期五下午5点; whichever comes first.
学生 who apply for 夏天住房 may additionally apply for 可能会临时 to bridge between the end of the Spring and the start of the Summer. 其他学生可能会收到 jmaki同样扩展 由于毕业工作等原因. Otherwise, extensions to move out after the deadline typically are 不 可用.
毕业生
- 10am on Thursday, May 16, 2024 (students must be confirmed as taking part in Commencement)
Extensions to the Senior check-out deadline are 不 可用.

When students move out of their room, they must complete 这两个 以下是官方检查的步骤:

- Don't forget to write your name and room number on the envelope!
- Please turn in an envelope even if you lost the key(s) to your room.

Failure to submit the Check-Out Envelope and/or online Form by the move-out deadline will result in a minimum $100不正当退房费. 缺少密钥将导致 每把钥匙更换费用100美元. 学生 who fail to move out by their check-out deadline will be subject to 不断升级的罚款 (starting at $100) and disciplinary action.

准备搬离
- Plan with your suitemates who will clean what & 当. 学生 are expected to clean their bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens.
- 提前开始打包! Don’t forget to check all your drawers, closets, etc.

- 通知ation about any check-out or damage charges will be sent to your Barnard email account after move-out. If you will no longer be checking that account, please set up your email to forward to a不her account that you will be monitoring.
校外夏季仓储
Unfortunately there is no storage space 可用 on campus. Vendors offer fee-based summer storage services to students. 学生 are responsible for negotiating rates, dates, and details with their selected vendor.

移动的车
A 有限的 number of carts will be 可用 for check-out from the front desk of each residence hall. 学生 are encouraged to bring their own cart, 手卡车, or dolly if possible to help move themselves out.
停车
Please do 不 leave any cars double parked without someone in it. Unattended and/or double parked cars block others from accessing the buildings and may be ticketed or towed by NYPD.
清洁 & 损失费用
学生 are responsible for returning their room to the 相同 condition it was in 当 they moved in (including cleaning their room and/or moving furniture back to the original positions). 住宅生活 & 住房 staff will inspect rooms after check-out.
学生 will be assessed charges for any cleaning and/or repair of damages required. Any cleaning or damage charges that can不 be attributable to one roommate and/or suitemate will be shared among all roommates and/or suitemates.
学生 who are assessed cleaning and/or damage charges will be contacted via their Barnard email to provide the amount & 收费说明. The email will include a deadline by which any appeals of charges must be submitted. 学生 are responsible for checking their Barnard email and/or forwarding their mail to an account that they will monitor after moving out.
Mail Forwarding (or Keeping Your Mailbox Open Over the Summer)
暑假离开校园? Remember to change any automatic shipments, deliveries and your default shipping address! Note: Mail 服务 is unable to forward packages or international mail.
这个夏天呆在校园里? Request to keep your mailbox open via the form linked on the 邮件服务网页.
